Can I Finish School?

Pregnancy does not mean you have to forgo finishing your education. You have rights as a pregnant student. Title IX protects you from discrimination due to pregnancy or parenting.

The following are some of the rules for Title IX:

  • You can continue to participate in classes and extracurricular activities
  • The school must excuse absences due to pregnancy or childbirth per doctor’s orders
  • The school must allow you to return to the same academic status
  • You must be protected from harassment of any kind

Unplanned doesn’t mean impossible. Contact us if you want to confirm your pregnancy, discuss talking with your parents, or learn more about your options. We’re here for you.
